The Current Project

I originally purchased the second qt50 for parts, but I still plan on getting it running and when I need parts...
The person i bought it from said that it just kept getting slower and stopped running... what that means to me, the carb and exhaust need cleaning. So it turns out the engine was completely flooded. The engine was turning over but there was to much back pressure. This was due to the fact that the exhaust was full of gas. I pulled off the exhaust and drained it but it still needs to be cleaned. I'm planning on cleaning out the carb tomorrow... pictures to come

Currently, the seat needs to be reupholstered, carb needs to be cleaned, the exhaust pipe needs to be cleaned, petcock needs a new gasket, some rust treatment, new ignition,new spark plug, and more problems I'm sure as I get into it.

The Purpose

Every time I tried to figure out where to get a part, or replacement part it was extremely difficult. I've fully restored one qt50, and on to the second one. I had problems finding gas caps, petcocks, ignition, tires, headlight, just about everything. So i'll share how I did it and where to go to get those hard to find parts/replacement parts...
